Watermelon slice, anyone ?

Since we couldn't go visiting this Chinese New Year, I tatted this watermelon for a colleague during the long holidays.

This is my second time tatting this watermelon, the first was in the tatting class I attended at the local community centre. Pattern was from the teacher :)

Thank you for visiting :)

First post of 2011

Six weeks already and I still have not got over dad's passing. Whenever I go into his room and see his favourite chair the tears start forming :(

Chinese New Year is just one day away and this year is going to be a very sad one for us. We will be at the temple on the fourth day of the new year to offer special prayers.

I am slowly getting back to some cross stitching and tatting. Hopefully they will keep my mind occupied.

My Dad

My Dad
21 November 1925 - 20 December 2010
I LOVE YOU PAPA. I WILL MISS YOU ALOT.

It has been more than 1 week since my dad passed away and I still can't believe it. I miss him so much but it is comforting that he is in a better place and at peace.

3 more days and I return to work after being off for almost 2 weeks. I need to get back to some routine. It will never be the same but I must carry on.

It's been a long long time

Yes, it's been a long long time and when I blog, it's sad news :(

My father was admitted to hospital this morning in a coma. I'm really lost for words now. Just don't know what to think .....
